Conference on Competitiveness

Closing Remarks

As we were unable to answer all the questions received, our replies to some of the unanswered questions will be posted on the Porter Prize website.

As Professor Porter remarked in his speech, the Porter Prize was established with the goal of fostering diverse types of competition on multiple levels by shedding light on the remarkable strategies of Japanese companies. It is our sincere wish that the specific strategies shared here today will inspire our viewers, and I invite you to send in your applications to help us share many more fantastic competitive strategies. The evaluation process provides you with an opportunity to review your strategies and receive feedback from us, so there is always something to be gained by applying for the Porter Prize, whether you win or not. Please give it some thought. I hope you will join us again for the Porter Prize award ceremony and conference on December 2 next year. Thank you for joining us today.
